Kate Ryan is an international human rights journalist covering immigration, gender violence, criminal justice, and women's health.
She has worked in Ireland, Rwanda, Uganda, Nepal, Israel and Palestine, and her photographs have been published in The New York Times, Buzzfeed, WNYC and The Nepali Times. Her work on sexual violence was selected for the 2018 New York Portfolio Review, and it will be highlighted in a photo installation in April 2019. Kate is based in new York City where she graduated from The CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
